SAM BRODSGAARD, M.A., MT-BC holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Mr. Brodsgaard is the founder and director of Metroplex Music Therapy, serving the needs of geriatric, medical, and adult psychiatric populations.  As a part of the treatment team here at Summer Sky, Mr. Brodsgaard facilitates group and individual music therapy services for both adolescents and adults.

 

Mr. Brodsgaard is also sought after throughout the metroplex for solo appearances on the concert stage.  A favorite at Casa Manana in Fort Worth, he has  played diverse roles there such as the Admiral in Evita, Sam in Godspell and Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Show.  Mr. Brodsgaard has most recently performed with The Las Colinas, Garland, and Arlington Symphonies.  Other notable appearances include guest soloist for the Van Cliburn Concert Series, and the role of Bobby in The Chamber Symphony of the Metrocrest’s production of Crazy for You.
