Many of our patients come to us in need of answers and solutions for their addiction problems. Our patients seek a practical and easy-to-follow plan of action. Our Medical detoxification program allows our patients to become physically free from the chemicals upon which they have become dependent. Most of our patients are amazed at how our detox process allows for a smooth transition into complete abstinence. In short, we provide hope and deliver results!
What is an Addiction Treatment Center?
Addiction Treatment Centers are programs developed to provide treatment for individuals that suffer from the disease of addiction. Addiction can be a complex but treatable disease. The addictive individual is often impaired physically, psychologically and socially. Alcohol and drug treatment programs should offer different levels of care tailored to meet the needs of the individual seeking addiction treatment services.
What is a Drug Rehab Program?
“Drug Rehab” is a term used to describe a place where rehabilitation takes place. Drug rehabs provide medical, psychological and psychotherapeutic treatment. Chemical Dependency involves a range of addictive substances. Some of the most common types of substances abuse disorders involve alcohol, prescription drugs, cocaine, heroin, amphetamines or a combination of one or more of these substances.
What is Dual Diagnosis?
Dual Diagnosis is a term used to describe people who have a psychiatric disorder along with a substance use disorder. Summer Sky does accept individuals that have dual diagnosis. Common examples of patients with dual disorders include patients who suffer from major depression with cocaine addiction, alcohol addiction with panic disorder, alcoholism and polydrug dependence, and borderline personality disorder. Some patients may have more than one diagnosis.
